Six local schools are each playing host to tank of baby Eels for the next eight weeks. The Eels in the Classroom project is brought to the schools in a partnership between ARK, Severn & Wye Smokery and Thames Water. For the full story click here. 12 May 2014
On 2 April a quantity of fuel leaked from a pipeline on the Marlborough Downs.There is some concern that oil may reach groundwater and from there reach the Rivers Og or Kennet.
ARK have played a role helping Esso and their team to identify monitoring sites along the river where pollution may be detected.
We are confident that a professional team is working to detect pollution, and a plan is in place to minimise any resulting impact.
