Ramsbury Triangle

Ramsbury Triangle is located at the end of Mill Lane in Ramsbury.  Jointly owned by ARK and Ramsbury Parish Council, it is a lovely site to see and hear birds as well as spot Brown Trout in the clear flowing water.  It is used to educate local school children in a hands-on way about the river's importance to wildlife and the environment.

ARK volunteers have carried out riverbank restoration, installing hazel faggots and planting Yellow Flag Iris and Sedge.  Later in 2013 they will coppice some trees to create a variety of habitats for the wildlife living here - this will also increase the light let into some of the river and should aid growth of marginal plants.
