Water Efficiency

In the Kennet Valley, and in south Swindon, the domestic water supply comes from the acquifers which feed the River Kennet.  Care for the Kennet is a campaign to help people use less water every day, leaving more in the river for wildlife.

Since 2012 we have been working with Thames Water under the Care for the Kennet banner, encouraging people to save water by fitting water saving gadgets in their homes.  It's free, and typical households can save £85 per year on water and energy bills as a result.

Our latest project is Get Waterfit 15.  To find out more just call 0800 358 6665.

Our previous project was Save Water September.

The Care for the Kennet campaign is running alongside Save Water Swindon, which aims to save a million litres of water a day.
